Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines
The Community Foundation of Greater Des Moines is a donor-driven public foundation whose purpose is to improve the quality of life in Greater Des Moines through philanthropy. The Community Foundation offers a variety of services for nonprofit organizations including responsible fund management, nonprofit accounting services, training opportunities, grants, community leadership and more. Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center
The Larned A. Waterman Iowa Nonprofit Resource Center is an interdisciplinary collaboration to strengthen the operational capacity of Iowa nonprofit organizations and to make educational and service programs more accessible. Sponsored by the University of Iowa, the center creates new knowledge through activities and provides information and training resources to help nonprofit organizations and interested persons throughout Iowa.

Americans for the Arts
Americans for the Arts is the nation's leading nonprofit organizations for advancing the arts in America. This organization partners with local, state and national arts organizations, government agencies, individual philanthropists, educators and funders throughout the country.
Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance
The BBB Wise Giving Alliance helps donors make informed giving decisions and advances high standards of conduct among organizations that solicit contributions from the public. The BBB Wise Giving Alliance produces reports on nationally-soliciting charitable organizations. The Alliance does not rank charities but rather seeks to assist donors in making informed judgments about charities soliciting their support.
Results-Based Accountability
Results-Based Accountability (RBA) is a disciplined way of thinking and taking action that nonprofit organizations can use to improve the lives of children, families and the community as a whole. RBA can also be used by agencies to improve the performance and demonstrate the impact of their programs.
The Philanthropic Initiative
The Philanthropic Initiative, Inc. (TPI) is a nonprofit advisory team that designs, carries out and evaluates philanthropic programs for individual donors, families, foundations, and corporations. Since it was founded in 1989, TPI's goal has been to help clients to invest in their own values, communities and societies for maximum impact.
The Wallace Foundation
The Wallace Foundation seeks to support and share effective ideas and practices that will strengthen education leadership, arts participation and out-of-school learning. The Wallace Knowledge Center offers useful information and guidelines for non-profits.
IFF
IFF, a nonprofit community development loan fund, provides affordable, flexible and accessible financing for the facility and equipment needs of Iowa nonprofits serving low-income or special-needs populations. IFF loans range from $10,000 to $1.5 million, cover up to 95% of total project costs, and are typically fully amortized for a term of up to 15 years. IFF offers financing for leasehold improvements and is able to fill a financing gap in second position with another lender.
