Nominations open for 6th annual Encore Award

Bravo Greater Des Moines is now accepting nominations for the sixth annual Encore Award that recognizes a Bravo-funded organization that creates a positive impact on arts & culture in the Greater Des Moines area.

The Encore Award seeks to acknowledge an organization’s commitment to the following values:

Collaborative – Throughout the region, across partner communities and with other cultural organizations.

Inclusive – Recognizes the community’s diversity as an asset that strengthens the region.

Accountable – Acts with integrity and transparency and allocates resources responsibly.

Regional – Impacts the region as a whole.

Opportunistic –Responds strategically as opportunities arise.

Passionate — Passionate about the value of arts and culture in the community.

The Encore Award will be presented February 6, 2016 at Hy-Vee Hall as part of the 11^th Annual Bravo Awards Gala.

Interested applicants should self-nominate by describing in two pages or less how their organization exemplifies the values listed above. The submission deadline is noon on Monday, November 30, 2015.
