Butter Sculpting with Sarah Pratt

Register to join Sarah Pratt, the Iowa State Fair’s butter sculptor, for a special family program at the museum on Saturday, December 28, 2024. This program is offered at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Hear from Sarah what it’s like to sculpt the butter cow each year, and then each participant will try their hands at creating their very own butter sculpture using a provided stick of butter.

The program is intended for families with children (8 years and older). Adults (1 adult is required for every 3 children) must be present and participate for the duration of the program. Adults without children are also welcome to join this program.

Registration is required and space is limited.
