History in Your Hands

The State Historical of Society wants to put history in your hands! We have thousands of publications that we want Iowans to enjoy…instead of being piled in our basement! These are books that were deaccessioned from Iowa libraries, had too many printed, or already have several copies in our library. These include books, journals, magazines, and more, some more than 100 years old. This event will occur simultaneously in Des Moines and at our branch in Iowa City.
