‘Science, Sex, and the Ladies’ 10th Anniversary Screening with Director Q&A at Varsity Cinema

A cross between a raucous midnight movie and a thesis paper, this documentary takes you on a journey through the science and culture of the female orgasm from the early 20th Century on, arguing there are deep misconceptions that can negatively affect every aspect of our sexuality. The argument is made through a series of off-beat vignettes, supported with on-screen citations. ‘Science, Sex and the Ladies’ has had an ever-growing underground following since its release 10 years ago. With an accompanying blog that keeps up on the culture and science surrounding female orgasm and a rowdy, laugh-out-loud audience experience, the movie continues to maintain grass-roots showings across the globe.
This is the kick-off event for the Science, Sex, and the Ladies’ 10th Anniversary tour. All three directors will be available for a Q&A after the showing.
