Varsity Cinema, the Affirming Congregations of Greater Des Moines, the Interfaith Alliance of Iowa, and Capital City Pride bring you this documentary that reveals how the first use of the word homosexual in the Bible in 1946 was the “mistranslation that shifted a culture.” Join us to learn how this error occurred and how it spread. Then, stick around for a 30-minute panel discussion with local religious leaders who are actively working to build acceptance of LGBTQ+ people with a message of full welcome and inclusion. The panel will be moderated by Wes Mullins, Executive Director of Capital City Pride.
